Surajit started his career with Shapoorji Pallonji in Mumbai in 1999 as Executive Assistant to Director and rose through the ranks quickly.He was instrumental in spearheading the growth of his vertical in Shapoorji and during his 13 year stint there, he completed millions of square feet of projects in Residential, Commercial, IT, Hospitality & Industrial Segment. Before leaving Shapoorji, he was working there as Vice President & Head – Operations.... Surajit joined Sobha Limited in 2012 as Regional Director for their Real Estate Business in West. As a Profit Centre Head, he was responsible for overall Direction, Strategy & Growth of the Region. During his tenure he has been instrumental in consolidating operations to deliver growth by doing large scale acquisitions, product planning, formulating marketing strategy and drive sales apart from revenue management. He has hands on experience and strong exposure of project related functions including engineering, costing & budgeting, monitoring, safety, quality, contracts, procurement, planning and project execution.

During his tenure as the CEO of Shapoorji Pallonji, he was responsible for steering local and international assignments, building green field business, and a host of commercial, IT, hospitality, industrial as well as residential structures. Mr Jain has also worked with Usha Martin Black Ltd., Usha Siam Steel Ltd., and Duncan Brothers Ltd. Currently, he is the president of the Rotary Club of Bombay and devotes his time towards social services and awareness program.

Sansad Academy of Architecture (Mumbai) and an M-Tech degree in Town Planning from Pune. He is a member of the Council of Architecture, Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), and Practitioner’s Association of Engineers, Town Planners and Architects (PEATA).

Edifice. Motivated by his experience in the field, Mr Gandhi went on to start Metadesign. Metadesign plays a significant role in certification of both, new and existing, structures such as factories, institutes, etc. globally. Today, he is an LEED AP+, IGBC AP, TERI trainer and evaluator.

Associate Architect for various institutional university campus projects in India and Nepal for the Manipal Group and design management of various self-redevelopment projects in Mumbai over the past 20 years.He has worked with PNC Architects - Dubai as Design Manager for the planning of Sobha Hartland-township project and as Project Manager with Interiors International Ind - Dubai on two 5 star hotel projects. He specializes in Interior Design and has successfully designed villas, high end residential apartments, hospital and healthcare interiors, and corporate office interiors all over India during his independent practice over two decades. He has 10 years of experience in real estate consultancy in the residential and commercial sector. He is a Member of Council of Architecture, Indian Institute of Architects and Indian Institute of Interior Designers.

Raheja Constructions, Khar west for 14 years (from 1992 – 2005) and was primarily involved in the designing of residential buildings from Bandra to Andheri including Raheja Classique along with Infinity Mall in Andheri besides township of approx. 10 lakh Sq ft in Pune along with various residential hotels in Mumbai. Progressively, he also been associated with M/s Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. and carried out projects like premium commercial offices and High end Residential buildings at Santacruz East and Pali Hill, Bandra besides other - for more than 13 years (from 2009 – 2021) as the head of Real Estate and Project management.

Previously he has worked with Vestian Global Workplace Solutions for fitout projects in Mumbai. Prior to that he has worked with Technic Projects constructions Pvt. Ltd as Manager Project Coordination for Design and Built projects for Xrbia Developers Ltd. He is a technically accomplished Civil Project manager with an experience of managing a wide range of Civil construction projects. He has capabilities in Project Planning and Monitoring.

In his professional tenure he has advised and worked for many developer like Acme Group, Siddhidata Developers, IM Buildcon Group, Romell Group, Purvankara Group (Banglore), Peninsula Infra Land, Sonam Builders (Mithalal Jain Group), Mittal Builders & Developers (Pune), Bollineni Group (Banglore). His core competency and practical solutions gained his popularity among real estate industry players and has led to smooth and litigation free closure of assignment handled by him.

He is also a visiting faculty to the various reputed institutions like University of Mumbai, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) – Mumbai, Ahmedabad Management Association – Ahmedabad, Deccan Education Society’s Law College – Pune, Rise Mumbai ( Barclay’s ), We Work – Mumbai.   He has been Awarded the “ Youth Inspiration of the Year for excellence in Legal services – 2019. Awarded an ‘ Eminent Contributor ‘ recognized by IIT Powai in the field of Law and Legal education.   He has a practical experience of working in the legal domain since the year 2011. He currently works extensively in both Litigation & Non-Litigation domain
